Welcome to the Town of Gravenhurst. We are proud to be the first Town in Muskoka surrounded by pristine lakes and all that nature has to offer. Numerous hiking trails and beaches are available for your enjoyment or just relax and enjoy life. The Town of Gravenhurst is the homeport of the R.M.S. Segwun and Wenonah II, the birthplace of Dr. Norman Bethune as well as live theatre at the century old Opera House. Our main street has been voted the prettiest main street in Ontario with many stores to investigate. The completion of the Muskoka Wharf project has added even more to our community with the Grace and Speed Boat Heritage Centre, a children's splash park and sport fields and many more boutiques and restaurants located on beautiful Muskoka Lake.
 
The Senior population in Gravenhurst is a very active and vibrant part of our community. The Gravenhurst Seniors' Centre has a full calendar and variety of activities as well a quarterly newsletter is published.
