Encore Seniors' Education Centre
Founded in 1994, this award winning program offers a variety of learning opportunities to enrich the lives of older adults, utilizing local resources and volunteers. The members of the volunteer board which runs the program and the volunteer instructors are all seniors from the community.

Ontario Senior Games - Actifest
The Ontario Senior Games, known as Actifest, started in 1986 as a showcase for participation of seniors 55 years of age and older. As multi-event competition, the Games provide the seniors from across the province with an opportunity to compete for a provincial championship in a social atmosphere.

Service Ontario Kiosks
ServiceOntario is an automated self-service kiosk that allows you to obtain government services and products much easier than before. These kiosks function much like automated bank machines. ServiceOntario is available 7 days per week at most locations with extended hours of service. You will find kiosks in government offices and major shopping centres across the province.

Credit Splitting Upon Divorce or Separation, Canada Pension Plan
The Canada Pension Plan recognizes that in a legal marriage or common-law relationship, both spouses or common-law partners share in the building of their assets and entitlements. Among these are Canada Pension Plan pension credits. When a relationship ends, the Canada Pension Plan pension credits which the couple built up during the time they lived together can be divided equally between them. This division is called "credit splitting". 'Partner' refers to either same-sex or opposite-sex common-law partner, or the person to whom you are married.
